Toowoomba Tadpoles (Hospice) Swim-a-thon
was held on Saturday 23 January 2010 - 8am to 12noon
at the Glennie Aquatic Centre, Vacy Street, Toowoomba
Can you help next year? Yes! Next year Toowoomba Tadpoles will host Toowoomba Swim for Hospice 2011 on 22 January 2011. We will be looking for swimmers to swim; Sponsors for swimmers, or donations of raffle prizes, and vounteers for other jobs. Or become a corporate sponsor; Volunteer to help (lap count/time keep/ sell raffle tickets; or just come along on the day. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible. Thank you for all those that supported the Raffle, Market and Swim-a-thon. 74 Participants swam a total of 140km, and presented a cheque to the Toowoomba Hospice for $22,880.30 (the final total was $23,300).
The Multdrawi-Raffle was drawn at 12 noon 23 January, 2010, by Mrs Wendy Ashley-Cooper (Head of Glennie School)
